Major Achievements: Kirby was in the All Star game 10 consecutive times. He won the MVP award of the 1993 All Star game. He was a six- time Gold Glove award winner and a 5-time Silver Slugger award winner. He won two World Series rings with the Minnesota Twins. Finally, when Kirby Puckett retired in 1995, he had attained the highest career batting average for a right handed batter.
